If you're just after an easy on lead walk, Damien Leeding Memorial Park makes a nice change of scenery to your usual street, or a pleasant daily stroll if you're more local. The pathway loops around the large lake; it's all concrete and flat and suitable for just about everyone of every fitness level.

There's a lot of parking available, which is good because this place gets busy, even on morning weekdays, with a lot of people out using the park for exercise. We mostly passed joggers and walkers, but there were a couple of people out for a morning dog walk as well.

This is an on lead park, however there is a really large fenced in off leash area if you want to give your dog a run as well. Somethings to note, however, is it's just the one area- so no dedicated small breed yard if that's what your little dogs require- and there's a prominent sign up advising that some dogs have been reported to have consumed bait and hooks from fish in there; definitely be mindful of that.

We walked around the entire lake in about 30 to 40 minutes, at a pretty brisk pace, so it's a decent walk that was worth the twenty minute or so drive down the highway for us.
